Somali Events is a community events platform that allows users to:
- Discover and view community events
- Submit events for review and publication
- View sponsored advertisements
- Connect with the Somali community

3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate

- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Types
- Users: Can submit events and view content
- City Ambassadors: Can approve/reject event submissions
- Admins: Have full platform management access
- Sponsors: Can create and manage advertisements
4. Event Submissions
4.1 Submission Guidelines
When submitting events, you agree that:
- All information provided is accurate and truthful
- You have the right to post the event and any associated content
- Your event complies with all applicable laws and regulations
- Your event does not contain offensive, illegal, or harmful content
- You will not submit spam, duplicate, or misleading events
4.2 Event Review
All event submissions are subject to review by City Ambassadors or Administrators. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove any event at our sole discretion. Events may be rejected for violating these Terms, containing inappropriate content, or any other reason we deem necessary.
5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
- Collect user information without consent

6. Intellectual Property

7. Sponsorships and Advertising
Sponsors may purchase advertising space on the Service. Sponsors agree to:
- Provide accurate information about their business
- Comply with all advertising guidelines
- Ensure advertisements are appropriate and legal
- Pay all fees as agreed
We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any advertisement at our discretion. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or any transactions between users and sponsors.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOMALI EVENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Somali Events, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- We may delete your account and associated data
- All provisions of these Terms that should survive termination will survive
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Minnesota.
